CPD & Learning for Counsellors
Learning to become a counsellor doesn’t stop when the course finishes. In many ways, that is where some of the most interesting learning begins.
Our CPD programme has been created for students, newly qualified counsellors and practitioners who want to keep developing their understanding and bring new ways of working into the counselling room without learning becoming another significant expense.
Our style of learning is a little different.
We are interested in the whole person who comes into the counselling room, rather than simply a presenting problem or diagnosis. Our learning is relational, trauma-informed and grounded in what actually happens between counsellor and client.
Alongside understanding theory, we explore what something might look and feel like in the counselling room, what may be happening beneath the words, and how we can respond when talking alone doesn’t seem enough.
There will be short, affordable seminars, learning around trauma-informed practice, and opportunities to explore expressive and creative approaches that can become part of the way you work with clients.
Our aim isn’t to give you another set of techniques to collect. It is to help you become curious, think more deeply about your practice and gradually develop a therapeutic toolkit that feels like your own.
Coming January 2027
Our new CPD and practitioner learning programme will launch in January 2027, and we are still busy creating and adding to it.
